Great idea, bad UI
I enjoy watching Leo and friends but this app has two big problems: the UI is awful and background streaming works only half the time. For one thing I can't tell if the buttons are a toggle or a status. Leo if you're reading this, please spend some money and hire a professional iPad developer. Thanks!

Doesn't background properly
I have set the background option to "on", but when playing the live stream or a recorded audio show, switching apps always halts the audio. The iphone versiom is not this buggy.

Great app
Integrated chat, calendar, and live streaming. What else do you need?

Works fine
Works much better than iPhone app. Waiting to see if you can get AirPlay live video going, that will be a neat trick. Update April 16 2011. AirPlay working, still a bit buggy. They say a fix is in the works. AirPlay video quality is pretty low. Needs higher bit stream selections like the web page. Still can't stream podcasts the best I can tell.

This is New Media, and it's awesome!
Twit TV is an IPTV service about a whole host of topics. Its very well prdoduced and fun to watch. Seriously, its addcictive. Live podcasting is the future. And with Airplay support, I watch TWiT live all the time on my Apple TV 2. And with a built-in IRC support, you can easily communicate with the on-air hosts. Its great.

Outstanding App
This is the best App for TWIT fans with an iPad. Live netcasts come through flawlessly. Archived shows can be viewed. The calendar and chat room are both viewable without interfering with the show. I'm not sure if this is he App that Leo endorses, but it is clearly the best - especially for live netcasts.
