Wait for new update
I have come to like and rely on this app quite a bit. I've been using it for years now across multiple devices. I loaded the most recent update on my iPad and it hasn't worked since. It crashes every time I open it. I've been in contact with their support, all of the the tips they offer have failed to do anything but further frustrate me. I have spent several hours of my own time replying to the support personnel, uploading crash logs and answering questions that could have been asked of me from the beginning (Or the answer to the questions should have been contained in a proper crash log.). Their own advice and tips on how to obtain the information they requested from me was outdated and incorrect which led to additional confusion and wasted time on my part and a delay in finding a solution on their part. I also haven't had any additional information in 2 days now. Prior to this update I have given this app 5 stars and as soon as it functions again I will upgrade my rating. I still have the old version on my iPhone but have found myself relying heavily on the web based version while the version on my iPad fails to function. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the paid subscription and the app I paid for.

Love the upgrade!
Cleaner layout and design and better syncing with Siri. Love it! Haven't experienced any crashes--I'm sure any bugs will get worked out.

Extremely Poor Upgrade
The "new" version constantly crashes and is extremely sluggish. So sluggish that it's not worth using and I have an iPhone 5.

Excellent 'to do' program with web sync
I have recently moved to an iPod touch from many years on Palm PDAs. Prior to this move I utilized the 'Tasks' Palm function as well as DateBk6 calendar (integrates with the tasks), and the tasks also integrated with Outlook. I also used 'Listpro' to keep lists, folders, dates, etc. in there for tasks. After having only used ToodleDo for a couple weeks, I am very impressed with it. It takes a while to add all your tasks (won't sync from Outlook), but the website is very easy and fast to do that. It auto-syncs between the handheld and the website. Here are some things I like thus far: 1. Website workpage - If this app did not have a desktop or web link, I'd have moved on. If you do much organizing and planning, sometimes you want to print things out and entering lots of things in the computer is way faster than doing it on the handheld, but it is good that you can do it either place. 2. Easy task addition, with notes and repeat options. 3 Scheduling and repeating tasks. This is working great thus far. You can schedule a task to repeat every week, and you can choose the repeat by 'date due' or 'date completed.' It is a VERY helpful reminder and 'flag' for all sorts of things, such as getting another oil change in the car, changing the furnace filter, reviewing a monthly task, doing a yearly task like taxes, reminder to input auto-EFT entries in your checkbook, birthday gift to get, etc. 4. Backup on the web and the phone. I also back up the 'MobileSync' folder from the 'Application Data' folder on my XP computer. 5. Sub-tasks supported. You have to pay for the 'Pro' version (14.95 per year) but this is a great way to take a big task and break it up into smaller ones with dates so you can move step by step to complete the big task. There is even a 'quick entry' app on the website so you can enter the whole list, then add them, then when they show up in the main view you can just 'drag and drop' the tasks onto the 'main' task and they become subtasks. Sorry for the long-winded review, I can be a bit obsessive (ha ha) but this is a great tool to help you keep track of all the 'stuff' in your life and you can access it anytime.
