Great for former Palm users
The only way I could make the switch. Love multiedit. Lots of todo apps out there but this one offers a ton of flexibility to use it however you want. Indispensable!

Toodledo Has Quirks
There are a few quirky things going on in Toodledo. With the task list showing in the left panel and a task's metadata showing in the right panel, I add or change the 'folder' and 'context' field values on the right. The changes are not automatically reflected in the task list. The task now is displayed under the 'No Folder' tab even though the task's metadata is showing a folder value. I need to manually re-sort, switch to another view, or close and open the app to get the task panel to update. Hmmm. Don't you think any update to the task metadata should automatically update the task list values? WEIRD STUFF!

Not really for the iPad and not as good as the web site
Toodledo web site is pretty good - lots of great sorting features, start and finish dates, etc. This app is really a phone app. It runs on the iPad, but it doesn't take advantage of the screen real estate. Also seems to have fewer options for filtering and sorting tasks than the web site.

Back On Track
My last review restored my five-star rating of Toodledo because the developer trashed their previous misguided update and went back to the earlier version. I held off on downloading later updates because I didn't want to get burned by another change in the UI that might be worse. I finally downloaded Version 3.0.7, hoping for the best. It was different, but I didn't hate it. After using it for a while, I grew to prefer it over the old UI. The developer is listening to the users (which was always the case) and incorporating their feedback in the updates to the program. Adding a brighter background in this latest update is a good example. There are still some very minor changes I would like to see in the UI, but I am back to being a very happy Toodledo user. The developer has earned his five stars. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I downgraded my rating of Toodledo after Version 3.0 was released. The horrible UI was justifiably flamed to a crispy golden brown by myself and many others. The developers listened and responded by going back to the previous version of the UI, which deserves the five stars that I am happy to restore to it now. It couldn't have been easy for them to admit the UI problems were bad enough to justify dumping their update and going "backwards". My thanks go to the developers for giving us back the product we fell in love with!

Perfect for everyone
This app is so detailed on the inside yet presents your to-do's simply. Every feature you can imagine and seamless synchronization with... Everything! All in all, thank you toodledo, you have truly helped me organize my time and I would even say you have helped me earn a college degree.

New design is a step backwards
I can see no benefit to the new design. One thing I absolutely hate is that items that are due in the next 7 days now show the DATE that they are due rather than the DAY. It's Sunday, quick, tell me what day is the 21st. Right, first you have to know the current date (which I usually have to look at a calendar for), and then you need to determine the due day from there. WHY make me do this conversion in my head or have to look at a calendar? Whoever made this UI decision should maybe think about a different area of expertise.
