Awful
Slow. Unresponsive.

Very disappointed
Even after downloading the latest update I'm still seeing "top news" from last Tuesday (it's now Monday morning.) This is definitely one of the worst apps I've ever used and I'm really regretting subscribing. Please poach some developers from The New York Times who can write you an app that consistently delivers.

Stepping backward
Well, it WAS wonderful till this last update - now it simply won't open. Thankfully, I still get the print edition delivered to my house every day.

Still a poor work in progress
I continue to use this since app since I need the news but this it is poorly designed and even the updates don't fix problems that should be simple. It is still bandwidth intensive but at least it updates the news in series rather than parallel. Making it possible to see the sequential updates. The advertising continues to be very poorly managed. You see the same ads over and over again but when you swipe to get to the story it skips the story and goes to the next ad. The touch control is also horrendous. The ad at the bottom of each page, if accidentally touched takes you to Safari and then won't let you return to the page you were reading. Also, if you touch anywhere that the app doesn't like (I haven't really figured out where those spots are since it seems to change) the app jumps to the last or next story (or more appropriately the ads and then, as you go back it takes you to the top of the story you were reading. They keep trying but just haven't figured this out.

Bezos should be ashamed
After weeks communicating with the support people I am still unable to download the print version. As of last night and this morning I can also not see the online content - "oops".

This Washington Post iPad app does not work. It is such a waste of time m so embracing for an institution trying to find any reason to continue to exist You're better off subscribing any number of other news outlets why are they silly as to blow such an obvious opportunity.

Still buggy
The app crashes when loading a page with video links.

App has deteriorated
It is now Monday afternoon. I have applied the latest patch and the home screen is still displaying the same content as on Saturday morning. Was better before they tried to 'fix' it. Simply will not update any of the content.

Buggy Bug Fix?
It's 9:00 am Sunday and now after downloading the latest "crash fix" on Saturday, the print edition download says today's paper is unavailable. WAPO, you can do better.

Bring this version to the iPhone!!
Now that the iPhone screens are bigger, having the print edition on them makes so much more sense. Put the iPhone version in the newsstand too, it makes zero sense to have the same newspaper in two completely different places on my iOS devices.
