Promising but needs work
Recently moved to the DC area from NYC so I thought subscribing to the print and downloading the digital app was a good idea. I must say the content is very good but there is a huge disconnect between print, digital app, and the website. For one, I should have the ability to log into the app with my Washington Post website ID. What is the point of having a profile set up if it is not available in all digital platforms? Favorites, preferred homepage settings, etc. a feature the NY Times has this app is missing. After I read an article, the NY times app grays it out to indicate it was read, a nice visual feature. I do not see much integrated video. Why have me go to device settings to enter my FB or Twitter settings most apps allow that functionality within the app? Lastly, I cannot believe they have a print version and a mobile version. Every other news app has one experience. It makes no sense to have a print download option. You need to come up with a way to have one cohesive digital experience like all other news apps check USA today, WSJ, or the NY times for an idea how to do this.

Still The Worst App Ever
This is the 3rd review of this app I have written, each after a new update that purports to cure its chronic problems. After the most recent update, this is still a piece of crap. It still crashes after trying to open the print edition. Nothing different. It is remarkable how incompetent the creator of this app must be. I don't know why I keep re-checking this after each update. Train wreck fascination I guess. Unless you enjoy tragi-comedy, avoid this.

Latest update crashes every time
Every time I try to access the print edition, the app crashes and I go to my home screen. Print edition orderly worked.

Still broken
Crossword is still broken on iPad 1. Does anyone (not just developers but Apple who is supposed to monitor uploads too) actually try these apps before putting them in the AppStore for download?

love the print edition
This is the best newspaper app ever. I can read the paper just like my home delivered edition including seeing the ads. This really works for me!

Snafu
I have to re download this app every couple of days because it will not load. When I pay for the subscription will this still be a problem? Otherwise I like the app
