Poor Performance
I recently purchased the digital subscription. To the WP so that I could read the paper on my ipad. The subscription is expensive but the convenience of the ipad app won me over. The problem is that the app doesn't work consistently and can't be relied on to deliver. If it is not fixed very soon I will be canceling my subscription. What a disappointment!

What to do next?
I too cannot get beyond the Monument photo, thus locking me out of my paid subscription. Doesn't seem to be any link to a webmaster/guru to communicate this problem to anyone at the Post. Do we just have to hope that they discover this themselves sooner or later? I'm thinkin' that having Jeff Bezos and his tech-savvy army as the new owners/operators of the Post will be a good thing.

Terrible
You would think that with the resources the Post has, and the price they are charging, you could get a usable app that doesn't always have some bug. You would be wrong.

Issues with Update
Since the last update the app crashes at launching. I experience same issues as others commented. I have a monthly subscription; however, I haven't been able to read the news on the app for a couple of days :-(
