Original version MUCH better!
Difficult to navigate & access all sections. Not worth effort - will subscribe to another news app.

Why did you do this WP?!
What happened?! Washington Post used to be one of my favorite news apps, but now it's terrible! There are far fewer stories, only a small fraction of what's in the paper. And what's with the downloadable print version? So we can scroll through tiny print to find an interesting story? Isn't the purpose of a good app to put all the content right at your fingertips, in a clean, accessible way? That's what the old app did, but the new app has gone light years backward. Bring back the old app WP!

Excellent
Don't understand the complaints. Love the app, love the content, love newsstand. Thanks for making it free until summer!

Best iPad Newspaper App
Ignore the haters. This does a virtual newspaper in some ways that surpasses even the Times. Though lacking in rich multimedia content, I love the choice of the simulated print version—I no longer feel I am compromising with using a tablet as a Newspaper. It is a vast improvement on the last version. Good work guys.

Idiots!!!
Whatever prompted you to change a good app for this piece of garbage. In addition to the cumbersome interface for the print edition, it does not even work (!) in hotels where you have to log on to the network through a browser - it just continues to show the hotel page (though you can still see the print edition through its awful interface). Congrats Post - you have shown yourself to be non tech savvy again!

Two steps forward, one step back
Some new features are a big plus, like access to the full print version and the ability to subscribe to blogs and columns. Performance isn't great, though, and changes to navigation and amount/organization if top level content seem unnecessary and an overall minus. I'm not a fan of chaining the app to the Newsstand but understand this is the way things are going for all publications. This is really an iOS problem - they need to let you create top level shortcuts for thing inside apps like Newsstand and Podcasts. If you only subscribe to one or two of these the additional navigation isn't worth it.
