Content on the Washington post has gone downhill the last couple of years as they cut corners. The web site cuts even more by giving you a very limited portion of what in the paper. By default the content is not available offline. The design of the website was average

LIMITED, NOT ATTRACTIVE
This app contains very limited content that's not well-suited. The homepage's content is not attractive. I would not recommend this app to a friend or colleague.

Have not been able to open since the last Apple update. Great when it works. Please fix this bug!

Latest release of IOS 6.1.2 killed this app. It now opens with its logo screen, then crashes consistently. When it works, it's a great app. When it works...

Fail
App hasn't worked for more than a month now. Continually freezes upon opening and then closes. Doesn't look like they plan to fix it since this error has been documented all the way back to Dec and they have not resolved. Save your self the effort and try another app.
