I wonder why a good app is squandered. Nothing works! This is so bad that I am no longer reading WP. Please bring back the simpler great app

Love it!
Now I can access the entire print edition! Much better than The New York Times app now ... I don't understand all the negative reviews.

A great app
Not sure what everybody is complaining about. This newspaper app is as great as any newspaper app out there...it includes not only an easy to read synopsis of all major stories in each section, but access to the complete print edition which can be read by easily zooming in or tapping the article to read the story. It's easy to navigate and I've had no crashes using the app. Most newspapers don't provide a print edition; this one does, albeit subsidized by a inobtrusive sponsor ad briefly at the beginning. Be thankful you're getting this newspaper for free through summer 2013. A great 'find' in the iTunes Store!

Wishing I had The Old WaPo App Back
Ok, the good: You can go directly to blogs or comics to read. The bad: This is such lower quality than the free online app they began with. What the hell happened on the way to the Newstand? The old app was very newspaper-like. Pleasing to view and to read. Endless scrolling (almost) to any story you chose to read. Great graphics, beautiful fonts and wonderful photos. This--er--upgrade, is not very good. Clunky, just a few stories on each page, poorer fonts and photo quality. Much less content. This is the app version, I presume, we will be asked to pay for soon. But seeing this "new" unveil, I feel inclined to change my mind. I would have gladly subscribed to the previous beautiful app. This one, seems much less worth paying for. Too bad.

New app is awful
The new app is very hard to navigate. Multi-column format is harder to reader. Harder to flip between stories. Print edition format is even worse. The original version was perfect. Ironically, I would have paid for the old version (which was free), but won't pay for this new "improved" version (which will soon require a subscription).

Where's the content?
I used to love this app, but the massive loss of content in the update is driving me away.
