don't you test these "updates" before you inflict them on us, your PAYING customers? back to the drawing board, fellows -- this doesn't open! ** I think I wrote this the last time you "improved" the paper. Actually it finally turned out to be an improvement -- and now, you've screwed up again. If you want to charge us, please make it simpler. I've received the WP for years -- I don't know my username and/or password. Why does it take all morning to figure out what the heck I need to do to get the paper back?

Crashes on startup
As usual, when the Post issues an update, it doesn't work. Deserves no stars!

Mr. Bezos, please help ASAP
I have been trying to be patient over the prior versions of this iPad app, but I think v 2.2.0 (i.e. we want 2 push our TV thing) may be straw that breaks this camel's back on my monthly $ubscription. It seems clear that WaPo's app developers do not understand the customer experience. To wit, for me it is a DAILY part of my life, just as reading, writing, and arguing has been since my days on the hilltop (G'Town). The tech bells & whistles are there to enable this daily ritual, they are not an end in themselves (see "innovation" vs. "technology"). And when a daily ritual is interrupted, the outcomes usually are not good. Anywho, hope you get it together; too much good content to keep hiding. But frankly at this point, since even my Facebook iPad app (which I had read horror stories about) is performing far more reliably, I see no reason why not to just follow WaPo on Twitter and then FB articles I want later? Am I missing something? Cheers.

Loyal subscriber but buggy app
The newest version of this app crashes on startup. I wish I had seen others' comments before updating this app. Now I can't read the newspaper that I pay $15/month for a subscription. It's bad enough that the paper is now behind a paywall, but being behind both a paywall and a broken app is unacceptable.

Latest update crashes
I'm in the same situation as the others who have commented, I'm paying my $15/mo. but since the latest update the app won't even open. I'll cancel if it isn't fixed in the the next day or so, not worth the frustration.
