Lots of issues ...
I've had this app for 4 days and for years have read the Post on my Kindle App for iPad. Unless these problems are fixed, I'll return to the Kindle version. The problems are these: 1. Whenever selecting text to copy or define, the selection brackets stay on, even through page turns. You have to back out of, and re-enter the story just to remove the selection. 2. There is a lot of repetition in news content. Often, I'll see article from the previous day or more that I've already read. A newspaper should be "NEWS", not old content. 3. There is no obituary section. And, when doing a search for obits, another problem surfaces ... 4. Some articles searches for, when found and selected, simply do not load. For instance, after finding that there was no obituary for actor Dennis Farina, I searched for, and found, the obituary. Unfortunately, I could never get it to load. 5. Ad spots before videos are unacceptable. There is already an ubiquitous ad bar at the bottom of the screen for banner ads. That's enough. I always back out of a video as soon as an ad starts to play.

Finally Got it,Together
The thing about rating something like this is it is two fold. First and foremost I love the Post as an informative, interesting magazine. It keeps me up to date to my old digs and gives me a good view of national and international news and affairs. On sports, I love the Skins and the Orioles and it let's me know what's going on. I do not always agree with everything but it would be very boring if I did. The article today about voting rights was terrible but it made me think. That was poorly written but it focused my mind on what is important. For example, it gave an example of student id's being rejected by a proposed Texas law for id's but concealed weapons permits acceptable. I am not a concealed weapons person but understand if a state has a strong requirement for those limited to citizens, it would be ok. Student id's definitely should not be a valid voter id. There are many international students and I do not want them voting. Just keeps me thinking. So I am happy the second part, the technical stuff, is back on track. The second part is the technical iPad stuff. For years the app has crashed too often. And too repeatedly on the same story line. Hopefully this will not reoccur with the latest change. For the last week or so the app has been in limbo. Great distress since I missed the print copy. But now it is back and the format is terrific. I can zoom in on a particular story or editorial and get it altogether or go the pages route. I can go to sports and go to recent issues. Well done. just hope it continues. Today I read what I wanted with no crashes. Phew and finally!

Can't download
Ever since I paid for the subscription, I have had difficulty downloading it. I have deleted it and then downloaded again with the same result. I'm canceling if it isn't fixed soon! Don't pay for it. It's not worth it.

Won't download print edition
For the last few days, the print edition has come up blank. Whenever I switch to the print edition it asks if I want to download it. I reply ok, and it seems to download, but comes up black. If I exit and try again it downloads again with the same result.

As others have said, crashes when downloading print version. Only blank pages show up and when you click on a page the app shuts down. Waste of money!!
