Icon disappears
With this new version, my icon has disappeared, so I can only launch the app through the App Store.

Problems
The new app does not allow search. When in print edition mode, it flips back to the Newstand when you click on a story, so you have to start over, and over, and over. Didn't anyone use this on an iPad before release? David H

I dig it...
Now lets just hope the pay wall that's coming this summer is reasonable. I'd also hope that the ads in the "app" are either removed or considered when the subscription prices are created. I don't like them but I'll deal with them if it keeps my cost down.

Buggy, but good, and where is the Fold??
This app is definitely an improvement over the previous version, and takes a lot of the good aesthetic elements of the New York Times app, but is version 1.0 and definitely has its share of bugs. I wish that every time I swiped to the next page of an article that it wouldn't fresh the ad, and that the app just gets faster overall. Pictures are also a problem, as you can't make them full screen and they aren't very high quality - not as high as the website has them. One thing - where is the fold?? The fold is one of my favorite things about the Washington Post and it needs to be in is app! I think the fold is better than the New York Times' Timescast, but the fold isn't as easily accessible. It either needs to be in this app or its own app. Overall, however, much better than the previous version.

Super Awesome update
The ability to read the print edition in the app is something no other newspaper can offer. I love it!

New Washington post app
Downloaded the new app and the app store tells me it is installed, but the WP app icon has disappeared. What happened?
