Horrific User Experience
Nice approach, terrible landing. They must be trying to hard because this new app simply does not work very well. When I tap articles or a photo gallery, the app stalls while it's trying to load. The previous WaPo app was much better because it was more responsive, faster, and seamlessly integrated. Sometimes change is not for the good, especially when they can't get it right. And to think that the publisher plans to start charging online readers for this experience. Good luck!

Poor upgrade
I was a faithful subscriber + we also receive the print edition at home. We have been receiving the paper for over 25 years. that said, This version is awful. It uses too much memory and takes too long to load. I finally had to delete it from my iPad 2 as it totally locked up. I thought there was something wrong with the install but after reading these other reviews all are having the same issues. Please go back.... And rework this app!

not good
This app seems to try to make the Post "current" but, for me, all I want is a newspaper...not another USA Today, would love to subscribe but they will have to improve the content. More news - less fluff.

Awful
The update crashes....news coverage is rather thin.

Old version was better!
Just upgraded to the new version of this app, as required, and am very disappointed. The old version was much better. This one is harder to navigate, harder to find the stories you want, seems to display less information on the home screens for each section. Not happy. Bring back the old version, it was better! Until then will be reading only the NY Times on my iPad.

Gigabyte Hog
This new app appears leaner with less articles until one checks the usage/app size under the iPads "settings". A whopping 1+ gigabyte! For what? I assume photos are eating some of this but inexcusable! Two requests: 1) Pare down app size 2) Add option to cap photo downloads allowing user to manage app size. A real step backward and even for free I may delete.
