Global electron shortage?
I understand the collapse of the newspaper business model and the need for a paywall. And I sympathize with newspapers' plight, i really do. But an online subscription that's more than twice as expensive as the dead-tree edition? No thank you.

New update
Takes for ever to load. And in extremly unstable. Print edition impossible to use. If no improvement seen in one month I will cancel subscription.

Too Pricey
Decent app, great news, but are you kidding me? $15 a month? I fully understand the need to make money, but that seems way too high.

New app disappointment
Love the app. The subscription price is ridiculous. Switched from home delivery to digital to be more sustainable. Home rate is $6.99/month. To get the same thing in digital format without the paper now costs $14.99/month. As much as I will miss reading the Post, I can't support this more than doubling of the cost.

They say the update was to fix bugs...
But actually they're doing it to make you pay for content.

Lots of issues ...
I've had this app for 4 days and for years have read the Post on my Kindle App for iPad. Unless these problems are fixed, I'll return to the Kindle version. The problems are these: 1. Whenever selecting text to copy or define, the selection brackets stay on, even through page turns. You have to back out of, and re-enter the story just to remove the selection. 2. There is a lot of repetition in news content. Often, I'll see article from the previous day or more that I've already read. A newspaper should be "NEWS", not old content. 3. There is no obituary section. And, when doing a search for obits, another problem surfaces ... 4. Some articles searches for, when found and selected, simply do not load. For instance, after finding that there was no obituary for actor Dennis Farina, I searched for, and found, the obituary. Unfortunately, I could never get it to load. 5. Ad spots before videos are unacceptable. There is already an ubiquitous ad bar at the bottom of the screen for banner ads. That's enough. I always back out of a video as soon as an ad starts to play.
