Broken!
I haven't been able to download the print edition since Sunday June 2. What has happened to the app? During May it worked well, able to get it page by page the entire edition each day. Please fix it.

Great reporting, buggy app
Love WP reporters and columnists. Five stars for content but even after several months of the new interface, there are bugs to be worked out including one almost literally huge one -- why on is this taking up 1.8 GB on my iPad??

Crashes
Why does the app crash and take me to the home screen every time I try to open the print edition? There have been multiple releases and it still isn't fixed. Get it fixed Post.

No longer a newspaper app
I used to really like this app. Not so much since the upgrade. The app doesn't work in airplane mode. Prior to the upgrade, I could download the Post newspaper to the ipad before departing my home. Like a newspaper, I'd the have the Post with me during travel, on an airplane, at conferences, etc where wifi or cellular was not available. The new app is essentially a web page interface that requires Internet connectivity to work, the stories do not download to the device for travel. The NY Times is the only paper that I can download via their app and have with me when not connected to the Internet. Very disappointed because I do enjoy reading the Post.

Crossword Dissapointment!
Thank you, Crossword puzzle now fixed! A little cumbersome, but so nice to be able to solve it on the iPad. I was excited when I tapped on the crossword and an app launched. After the commercial, it offered me a puzzle for 12/12/10. When I tried to play I got no puzzle or clues, but the timer ran fine. Please fix. The rest of the app works great!

Best of both
I don't know why this app is causing people crashing problems. My guess is they have other issues and it's not this app. I live outside the US and travel a lot. Never any problems with this app. Like another reviewer I have had the NYT electronic versions since they began and read every day on either iPad mini or iPad. Post is MUCH better. I love being able to view the print edition when I wish. Took a little while to get over my NYT preconceptions as to e version layout but find the Post better. When can I start paying?? Boy, never thought I would EVER say that about news on the web! All and all the Post raises the bar meshing the print world and the mashup/blog news.
