Bad upgrade
I've been a subscriber for over 30 years this is the worst upgrade I've ever seen. Please get your act together,I love your newspaper but as technology advances you also have to advance the people who are creating this app.

Not fully developed
I've been irritated for a long time on missing and old articles. The print edition has major articles that don't appear in the Sections part of the app. Added to this is that many articles that are old still appear. Unlike the NY Times, articles are not arranged by date nor does the publication date does appear under the title. The Post really needs to design their app so the current day's stories can easily be read and stories aren't missing. It is also unfortunate that there is no link to a "Contact us" area. I can't see why any major company doesn't include such a link unless they don't want feedback.

Ripoff
I am making monthly payments but cannot get to read a page. It returns blank pages every day. Not fair rolling out a product that does not work. Do not subscribe.

where is the WAPO status?
this app does not work and has not worked since you released it. I did want to subscribe, but I could not. Just black boxes over the print pages. OK, I accept the release is bad, but WAPO, tell us what's going on !!! Do you read the reviews? Do you know that it's broke? what are your plans?

Not great
Given the simple nature of the content you would think that the Washington Post would be able to do a better job. Too many bugs, I'm guessing no one at the Post is using their own app.

Print edition barely functions, app crashes constantly
I'm a 35-year reader of the Post and didn't like the last iteration of the Post's app because it continued to leave all of the neat things the post has - graphs, notes, "small format" opinions, etc - out of it. To see that the print edition format (similar to the excellent WSJ app) finally arrive was news to my eyes. Unfortunately, everything that others have said is wrong with this is correct: 1) The Print Edition will not open and crashes the app every time. The only way around this is to delete and reload the app. 2) The daily paper does not download automatically, and when it does it pulls up a faulty download screen (with 2 Cancel Buttons) 3) It is still very slow I'm not sure how the Post could put out such a bad app without testing, but I hope they fix it, since they lament the loss of readership and then have these issues. Update: the "all new" version on July 4th now just gives me black screens for the print edition. Another big miss for the Post.
