The old app worked great- sure it wasn't identical to the print copy but the major items were there. It DID open right away. This version takes forever to download the print copy - so long in fact I cancelled the download. I know why Post did this but they ruined a good thing. Should have kept the old app for those who didn't care about reading the print copy and made this subscription based for those who did. Bad move Post.

Not good
I used the previous WaPo app multiple times daily due to its intuitive interface and robust content. While I'm fine with the interface it seems as if there is NOWHERE NEAR THE CONTENT available on this updated version. And they expect users to pay for this shortly?.....um, no.

Less content HATE new "upgrade"
I had to hunt for the app as the icon disappeared. I found the newest version in my newsstand. I opened it to find MUCH LESS CONTENT. The last version was far better...I HATE THIS NEW VERSION!

Mediocre execution
Another poor execution as it relates to technology. How can you think that this was good? Wow the old app was awesome. This one is terrible. Why are tech folks so bad at executing? So tired of excuses. If you build it it should work.

Liked old layout better
Not sure why you changed the app. I thought you had the best newspaper app in the business. Easy to move thru and read. This is not an improvement. I liked moving down the page as well as swiping across. I liked being able to read the start of articles easily. I liked the font. Sorry, this gets a thumbs down. FYI, I read newspapers online every day.

Finally a Worthy Electronic Edition
This is how I've always wanted to read the Post. A quick scan of the print edition and the ability to quickly jump into the articles of interest. Responsive and beautiful on retina displays. Bravo, team!
