Great job!
it's about time a world class newspaper had a world class web experience. the IPad app is now the perfect travel compliment to the paper delivered at home. well done.

You can do better than this
Earlier App was more functional than this. Stories keep flicking with minor touch. Also, I can't see the science and health section, which is one of the reasons I read the paper.

Giant step backward
WP app was one of the best news apps. Now, the interface looks washed out, the font is not as nice, the layout is not as good, and the content is less. Also, for some reason it no longer shows up in the News folder I created. The first thing I saw was a reminder that this app was only free for a limited time. No way would I pay for this. Bring back the old style!

Avoid
This app exists solely to manage WAPO's new subscription-only service coming this summer. Much of it is the same as the old one. The added part is the replica of the paper edition, but after the initial "this is cool" feeling, most people will revert to the basic app format, which is easier to use (this is how magazine apps are trending, too). It loads now into your newsstand and not as a normal app, since it will be a subscription pay service. Switch to NPR or some other free app instead.

Upgrade and now no icon!
Reading the post is part of my morning routine. Hunting for the app in the AppStore so i can open is not a welcome addition to that routine. Please fix this bug!
