The current king of iOS synths
The sounds on this app are spectacular. Most of the presets (and the programmers were very generous in providing a lot of them) sound REALLY expensive...like the type you'd get only by spending a lot of money on high end soft synths or even more money on high end hardware synths. My Korg R3, which I really like, almost sounds antiseptic next to some of the rich sounding patches in Sunrizer. The arpeggiator is additionally one of the best I've seen, being deep, flexible and intuitive. The developer is also really responsive to his customers and has already implemented many suggestions and bug fixes. The latest update fixes the MIDI bugs in the prior version, making this truly is a performance worthy synth app. Just plug in a USB MIDI keyboard with the camera connection kit and this synth can easily replace among the best hardware VA synths.

Update 8-2 Still the most powerful thing ever to hit the app store. Now with metronome support! It will be even easier to record the hits now. I won't have to rely on other background apps to keep the beat. Greatness. Thanks for the fix and the additions! So far this is the most powerful sound we have seen on a iPad synth application. If you have not yet purchased this then you are crazy..... The price versus product is amazing and I would expect an app like this to run $20. At $5 it makes it an app that everyone could and SHOULD own. This is beep streets masterpiece and I can't wait to see what comes next. This will be another turning point in my iOS productions.

Best sounding synth out there!
You added the Click! 5 stars! Horizon is a great sounding synth with it's own distinct sound. The interface of Horizon is clean, easy to access, easy to program. Really nice Arp presets and easy to modify patterns. Overall well worth the money and overall a great release, showing that IOs is really becoming a great platform for synthesis in general. The one thing that would get it the 5th star would be a audible "click" when recording.

Quick, Easy, Deep
Never in my life have I found so many imminently playable presets in a synth. There's enough inspiration to make a whole album without touching a dial. But, when you do want to make your own Beep Street make sure that it's easier than anything else on iOS and that you get the tones you want. Truly amazing app.

Absolutely the best!!!
I have downloaded several synthesizer apps, and none comes close to what you can do with this one. It also has the richest sound and, I didn' t count them all, but at least 70 preset sounds. It has delay, chorus, distortion; and it has many ways to configure LFO to filter, amp, etc. Many types of filters and filter1+ FIlter2 etc, and a comprehensive programmable arpeggiator. It is almost a complete sequence which I haven't figured out how to use. I don't see a manual for it, which should be included for the arpeggiator. I will have to do trial and error to figure it out. It has polyphony and mono to create rich layered mono tones. I am really blown away with what it can do, and the quality of the sound. It has a terrific sound engine and simple layout. A lot of functions are layed out at the top of the app. in the form of buttons wich opens a window with items to select. The possibilities are endless. It is well worth the 4.99 I paid for it, and I am sure they could charge much more for what it does and how rich it sounds. Kudos to the develper!!!
