Crashes & Freezes
It can't get much more useless than this app. The app crashes on startup or freezes. The farthest I got was adding my zip code. Then a grey screen. Deleted. iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4. I have a P3 International P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor that goes inline between the appliance and the receptacle. This works very well on a fridge which runs variably depending on the number of visits to open the door as well as the ambient room temperature. You can run a 7 day test to get a pretty good idea of energy consumption.

Doesn't work
Downloaded, entered zip, then nothing but a blank gray screen. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, location services on/off, restarting device, same result each time. Rather disappointing as we're having a solar system installed in the next few months.

Mark one more crasher
Me too. App quits in the first half second of boot up. Read on for why I gave it 3, not 1 star. Perhaps it's that I am using IOS5 on an original iPad. If this loads onto and functions with my iPhone that uses the current IOS6, I will come back and update my review. But that does beg the question, "If it is simply an issue of the app only working with devices running the latest IOS, why isn't this included in the app info as a disclaimer?" UPDATE: this app works on my iPhone running IOS6 Well, going back to the app's AppStore page, they did note that this app won't work on any but IOS6 devices and that an update to fix this is in the works. They just failed to correct that in the System Requirements section on that same page. Why the name "Stopwattch"? Intentionally confusing or just being cute? Seeing if folk catch the double T. I had previously DL'ed what I'd thought was a competing app called Verde. Turns out, Stopwattch is made by them. (P.S. That one works on devices running IOS5). But I gotta ask, what is the difference between them? I thought I'd read on the Verde web site that Stopwattch was developed for evaluating the cost of operating Plug-in Hybrids like the Chevy Volt. But elsewhere on their web sie and in the AppStore info, it sounds like a duplicate of the Verde app. Go figure. Interesting to note that they have a link to Stopwattch on the Verde AppStore page but not the other way around.

I installed it on my iPhone 4s and it crashes the second I click on it. From the looks of the reviews, everyone is having this problem.

Nice design, but not very useful yet
This could be a useful app, but for some reason is missing the main energy draws in the home: 1) AC and heat 2) refrigerator 3) electric stove. Also, it only lets you estimate energy usage for ONE appliance at a time. The app contains an advertisement for a green power company. It seems like they ran out of budget to finish the app. Too bad. NOTE: The developer says updates are on the way, so these issues might be fixed soon.

Um, I guess it's saving energy....
This app is an energy saver. Because it won't open at all on my iPhone 5, it made me put my phone down and save a lot of battery energy.

I tried several downloads and restarts and it just crashes. Thinking something was wrong on my end..... However now that I read the reviews and see I'm not alone it's the app that is defective. Not a good way to get your push in the Apple Store. Went from 5 stars down to less than 3 overnight.

Too generic
No real information on specific products.
