4 stars
This app is very very amazing the only problem is that there is only 50 frames for iPod 4! Please put at least 200 or 300 for iPod 4. That would be great! I'll rate the app 10 stars if I could!!

Hours of fun.
This may be the best $1 app I've ever bought. My kids (4 and 6) are even making their own movies with it. It would be even better if the file size limit was a preference setting. Also, I'd like more control over the time-lapse intervals. Overall a super fun, easy to use app.

Fisher Price stopmotion. 20 sec delay max
I really wanted to like this App, particularly after so many positive reviews. I tried very hard to like it, but in the end it just has too many arbitrary limitations that make little sense considering the capabilities of the Iphone. I was enamored by the clap feature that triggers the shutter with a clap of the hands or a snap of the fingers. Thats a brilliant idea, though in my reading room it would turn out the lights just before the picture is taken. Right out the gate I wanted to try a time lapse of the sunrise. With 20 seconds being the max delay, 199 frames the storage cap, and 12 fps the max playback speed, my sunrise was a brief blip of poorly lit wind blown trees. This is, after all, an Iphone so I'm not expecting much. Certainly not professional level tools, though i am constantly surprised by App abilities. This, however, cant even be called a Fisher Price stop motion tool. As a retired animator I am very disappointed in the lack of the most basic of features to allow editing of the final results. People rave over onion skin, but that, to an animator, is akin to a music lover raving over Itunes volume control. Give it some thought and seek input from people who know what they want in an App like this (Animators, Composite artists, F/X artists, etc.). I, for one, would be more than happy to help anyone embarking on a project like this. Most Animators are passionate about their trade and would be excited to contribute. You have but to ask. Thats what movie credits and IMDB.com are for. There are many small animation studios in any town. Google or phone book them. Looking forward to your updates to address these issues.
