Can't turn it off.
Always been amazed by the stars, but now, I'm flabbergasted! Hands on - 10. User friendly - 10. Keeps your interest - 9. My daughter and I use this every night and we both look forward to it!

Fantastic App
I used Star Walk HD to track the 2,400lb GOCE satellite as it slowly descends to earth. It showed me where the satellite is (below the horizon) and it’s altitude. Remember I said “slowly”? It’s dropped ELEVEN MILES since started typing this, currently it’s a bit under 82 miles up. Truly a wonderful program.

Great app, but a minor problem
I am displeased with the occasional blinding yellow-white light of a star model that pops up when checking for its details in night mode. It's quite difficult to work around but if the developers can put the night time overlay or something over the star, planet, etc. when night mode is enabled, that would make my observations so much more enjoyable. I mean, why else would there be a night mode if only to loose your night vision to an Mirach model?!

ISON tracking useless
Since I could not verify my iPad version I deleted it and redownloaded. For today (Nov. 9) ISON is not far off. But, on Nov. 28, 2013 with it at perihelion it is still shown to be in Virgo. It should be basically aligned with the Sun. The movement through time is meaningless. This rating is for this release. I give 5 stars otherwise!
