Does what it needs to
This app allows me to use my squeeze server with ipeng on my iPhone. Simple to setup, no issues for me. Would be very limited without ipeng.

No longer works
I paid for it. It should "just work."

OK, despite issues
Squeezebox client apps require a local server running Logitech Media Server. They cannot connect to the web service at mysqueezebox dot com. Squeezecast is cheaper than the built-in iPeng client. The app also has a basic SB controller. The controller can't clear or remove items from a playlist. I had quite a few server disconnects with this app. My low expectations are based on the fiddling required to set it up. With effort it can be done.

Good
Does exactly what I need it to, which is stream my FLAC files from my pc to my iOS devices. The only thing I would like to see added is the artwork in the lock screen.

excellent app - turns your iOS device into a Logitech Squeezebox
Like the other reviewer I made the mistake of looking at the Squeezecast interface and was initially disappointed I paid $5 for it. I felt it lacked features and was underdeveloped. However, I was completely missing the point of this app. You only need to open Squeezecast ONCE on your iOS device, point it to the IP address of the computer where Logitech Media Server (LMS) is running, and THAT'S IT. Then use the free Squeezebox iOS controller from Logitech or any of the others that are available in the App Store. Squeezecast will appear in the list of devices, select it, choose your music and you are good to go. So simple. I use the Logitech controller and it works pretty well. The best part is LMS - it is really a flawless app, it scans my music library quickly, and it integrates fantastically well with iTunes, including playlists. I used to use Zumocast to stream my iTunes music collection to an iPod Touch in my home, but Zumocast stopped supporting iOS and I was a bit lost. This app is great because of its simplicity and it integrates with LMS which I already had running on my computer (I own an original Squeezebox). I can't recommend this app enough.
