Vade Mecum for Latinists
I see two real uses for this app. One as a reader and two as a dictionary. The reader portion of this app has a various selection of books in Latin and their English translation but the functionality is so poor I can't see any benefit from it. For example in the History section, some of the passages are so long that you have to scroll down for a long time before you get to the end if you are on iPhone. If you lose your place or quit the app you have start all over again. When you click on the switch to the English version you lose your place. Very annoying. I wish at least the books had at least the functionality of a decent e-reader like bookmarks, skipping to chapters, page turnings or whatnot. The Lewis and Short app in here is a fine addition but the words are so cluttered up it's uncomfortable to use. There is another dictionary Whitaker Words that is easier on the eyes, seems to be simpler than L&S. Also I wish the app loading time wasn't so long so the transition would be more convenient.

Bad dictionary
I bought this app for the dictionary part of it. Once you buy the app you have a choice of two dictionaries to use. One of them is cluttered and confusing and the other has a very small selection of words.

Terrific!
Still exploring this app, but it is immediately clear that it is extremely well conceived and impressively executed. It is both dictionary, Latin tutor, and text collection of classic Roman writers and historians. Outstanding!

Amazing
For anyone interested in Latin or the roman civilization, tis is the app for you. It is chalked full of data from guide to Latin linguistically structures to a history of Romans and it is full of literature from many authors of lain antiquity.
