Version 1.5 nailed it
Thank you, BBE. I will now condemn the default Music app to the dark corner of a folder forever. With your 1.5 update, I will never have a use for it again. Everything about it is now perfect, and the added bonus of integrated tweeting is a cherry on top. For those who have yet to experience this app, I can't recommend it enough. All of your music will sound better, whether it's coming from the stock earbuds of your iDevice, studio-quality headphones, dock, computer speakers, or audiophile rig; this will be the best you've ever heard your music sound from a portable device. You will hear subtle nuances you've never noticed before in your favorite albums - you'll hear your music like new all over again. If you're even a passive listener of music on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod, you owe it to yourself to spend the $5 on this. It's worth every penny. I've been a user for a while but was unable to give it 5 stars till now due to its formerly awkward music organization. With the new version that is no longer a problem. Everything is arranged in a hierarchy just as you're used to in the Music app. And now you can customize the interface and tweet what you're listening to too. If I could say a single bad thing about it, it's that it may not be right for quite every system. If you've already got an elaborate equalizer in a car or home stereo that you've meticulously crafted around the quality that you're used to your device putting out, laying the SonicMax presets on top of it might throw it off. However, the app will let you zero out the effects at the push of a button when needed, and there are blank presets available for you to customize and save for those sound systems that require it. All in all, I couldn't ask for more in this app. BBE has perfected as only they can what is quite possible the best music playing app available for any iDevice.

Outstanding sound quality
Thanks so much for improving the artist/album navigation - it really makes the app a lot easier to use. Outstanding sound quality makes this a must-have for anyone who loves music and wants it to sound the best it can. Any chance of an iPad version in the future? While it works with the iPad well now, it's always nice to use the extra screen real estate.

Bbe app...
I use the sonic maximizer tech with my professional guitar rig, PA system, and DAW software. The app seems to work as advertised. BUT... The volume output appears to be decreased and there appears to be a serious issue with the interface for selecting material. Other reviews said the same thing and I would guess that this will be addressed. I have confidence in the bbe tech and hopefully they will get the interface up to speed so that this becomes a usable app. The sooner the better. When they dial it in this will be my go to music player.

Sonicmax Pro
I'm not an audiophile, just an average person but I was really bored with the sound that my iPhone had. I tried quite a few apps similar to this and they were not as user friendly. The other apps also seemed to use up a lot more memory then this one does. Most important with most of the other apps I've tried I did not notice a drastic change in sound quality. The sound quality of this app just blows me away! Everything I was searching for and not a space hog either! Worth the few bucks it cost!
