Phenomenal sound
BBE has for some years had this technology and has for some time only applied it to guitar and bass amps. On their amps it does such a great job of boosting the sound and I always found myself wondering how a BBE av receiver would sound. Well it may not be what I wanted, but its the next best thing. This app replaces the music player in your iPhone or iPod with the addition of adjustable sound controls. You can't settle for one spot on each control! It all sounds great! You will not be disappointed with this quality. Note, I was not very find of any of the preset settings, but hey everybody's got their taste. Have fun adjusting. My headphones melted into my ears enjoying the warmth, clarity and mid crunches on Like a Stone by Audioslave. This app is worth $10! Also the playback controls stay at the top of your library folders no matter where you are, another great addition.

BBE has done it again with 482 in SW
I have the hardware version of this app in the form of the BBE 482 sonic maximized and it makes quite an audible difference when used with pre-recorded music. It puts the liveliness ambiance and spatial separation back into mp3 or any pre recorded sounds. Awesome to know I can get similar functionality from a 3$ app.

OMG- its a sonicgasm!
So good, you'll think you spent $200 instead of $50 on your earbuds. I haven't owned previous versions, but the UI is (still) a little klunky. The scrubbing bar is teeny and the buttons for volume control and others are not something you'd want to be fiddling with while driving, but no matter- the sound is what matters and, especially with my earbuds, the difference might make you weep. If you're not an aspiring sound engineer, the lite version appears to have the same sound as the Pro, just without the custom presets. Either way, you won't regret laying out a little dough for aural stimulation!

Great player w/EQ options
Love the ability to boost/cut freq's to my taste. Spatial processor is cool but can get out of control quickly. A little goes a long way. If you have so so ear buds this app can help them sound better. Only had it act buggy twice.

UI, room for improvements
I'm giving this app 4 stars, not because of sound quality - which is great - but because of the user interface. The whole navigation is somewhat awkward. But what really got me, is the fact that one has to hit the tiny speaker icon and in there the airplay icon(!) in order to switch from BT to dock connection. (Not user friendly especially for in-car use). But on the other hand it was more important to feature an "share" (Twitter,…) button within the prime screen real estate. Really!? Who cares what I'm listening to right now? Also the app doesn't feature a disable lock screen feature so that your screen will go black after a short time. What would be really slick, is, if I could tap onto the album cover to expand it to a full screen with car friendly track/volume etc. navigation similar to the LeechTunes app.
