Amazing app
It has so many good full episodes and even great clips from the smithsonian channel that all people would love to have.

Lame Lame
No way to set up a watch list - they let you mark favorites, but give you no way to get back and see your own list of favorites. Pretty cool presentation, but very limited on full episodes you can watch. If you like Sm'n watch it on TV.

Only App Worth Rating
I never rated apps, until now! This is the first app I actually thought was worth rating. Go Smithsonian! Love it...

Love this app just as much as the channel itself
This app plays beautifuuly on my new iPad 4th Generation. The picture quality is sublime and I am totally enjoying watching programs I might have missed with my HD TV. I will take issue with the Oregon episode of Aerial America. I live in Oregon and have for last 50 years so I wasn't surprised when I watched an hour long show of mostly Portland/Salem areas of the state, with the exception of Crater Lake and the Painted Desert. Disappointed, yes...but not surprised. This state seems to operate as if only the northern portion of it is important. Sorry to see Smithsonian bought into that bologne.
