Shazam (Red)
Expected this to work just as good as the free version. Well it doesn't. Constantly freezes while sending or analyzing the song. When it does work, half the time the song is unrecognized. Wish I could get money back and send it to aids fund.

Yeah, apparently the iTouch 2nd generation does not have a microphone, therefore making this application useless. Unless you want to carry around a portable microphone of course! I am glad my money went to a good cause, though.

This app is better than some reviewers have led me to believe. First, I don't see where all the adds are that people are complaining about. Maybe they got rid of them in a newer version. Also, 20% of profits is nothing to poo-poo at people. How much of your salary do you donate? Probably not 20%! Great app! Have not had it crash on me. Love it!

I love this app!
I bought this when they had it on special for $2.99 and I love it! I love buying (red) products because I know it helps AIDS in Africa. I downloaded the free version of Shazam and was not pleased with the limited amount of tagging per month. I've used this app several times already and I love it. It's definitely useful when you want to know the song that's playing, especially when I want to find out the song that's playing on particular movies and I don't want to wait for the ending credits.

Excellent app!
While sometimes limited in identifying obscure pieces of authentic traditional Celtic folk music, it is surprising how often it IDs and finds even early wax and 78 RPM recordings, some over 100 years old! If it works this well with such obscure music, I imagine it would work incredibly well with more modern mainstream pieces.
