So there are a lot of very cool synth apps floating around. Some I've been withholding judgment on because I wanted to spend more time with them... Some I came back and slammed a few min after paying for because the just sucked. This... One is unique and engaging in ways I can only describe by telling you what it isn't. Does it employ some type of "exotic" synthesis? Ground breaking sonic wizardry never before witnessed on planet earth? Not really.... Super mysterious sound morphing algorithms? Nope. Faithfully reproduces the look and sound of an XYZ-PDQ 5000, complete with cig burns and propensity to create ear splitting self oscillation if tweaked wrong? Negative. But the interface just invites you to play... It lets you add interesting automation to a sound with an simple and instantly rewarding control scheme. And it's got a frigging preset called "She doesn't take her pills so I do." If you have an interest in synthesis... Even if you just want to make some cool noises. Make this your first iPad sound app. I really wish I had :-)

My grain got bent!
Now with MIDI, and user presets. Except, I had no problem renaming my patches? Is more obvious now, so that should eliminate the confusion before. Now this is pretty interesting. Great for making both random sounds and carefully crafted sounds. I find it especially nice for making textures, and FX. This can easily be a valuable tool in all synth lovers tool box. Maybe even necessary? I'm loving it. Thank goodness record, copy and paste were included right off the bat. Many developers are keeping that out from version 1 apps lately, and nothing is more frustrating. Nice job. ~SmiteMatter.com

My promised 5 Star review
"Great sounding synth. It'll get a 5 star review from me when I can RENAME PRESETS. Grrrr." That was then this is NOW- OUTSTANDING UPDATE! Kudos To Burgerkone, who are part of the New Era of INCREDIBLE post NanoStudio iPad Synths (Sunrizer, SoundPrism, SampleWiz, etc...) Great new logo too.

Well worth $5
This app is a lot cooler and useful than most of the apps I have spent $5 - $15 on. I can see this going up in price after people catch on. The random button is awesome. Worth the risk of $5. Peace. Luke Reddington

This is one awesome app.
I am a compulsive music app buyer and to be honest there are only a few apps that I really like and this is one of them. The sounds that this thing can create are so wild. I just can't stop pushing the dice button!!! Feature request: Preset naming! Continuum (scale) controller ala bebot and GarageBand. Preset sharing Thank you so much for such a great synth!

$5? Holyshit. This is an amazingly creative and capable synthesizer. You can record the motion of every parameter on it, including fx, for extremely deep, evolving patches. Well worth the money.
