Wish I had not wasted 1.99
This app is hard to configure , but did work for a time for me using everywherechat. Now I get taken to private rooms and have to keep leaving them to join the room i request. I do not recommend this chat to anyone.

Good choice for an Irc client
It works, better than some of the others at least. It does require that you mess with it for a few minutes, but that's the same for most things.

Currently the best client
This is the most feature-rich and user-friendly client currently available. Overall it is better than colloquy, although it does have memory issues with the web browser on older OS versions and has a few bugs concerning landscape mode. I suspect most bugs will be ironed out in the next version.

Great app, but not perfect.
Because it is the first on at the app store, I'll give it a 4/5. It is a great app and have been waiting for an IRC app, but just wish it would let you identify yourself with the server. Because it can't, I am not able to go to a lot of channels on my server. Worth the 3 bucks though if you use irc a lot.

I'd say that most reviews of version 1.01 can be safely ignored. 1.1 is so much improved in terms of stability and goings-on behind the scenes that it's like night and day. The review average that gives this app its first impression is unfair. So, we have stability. Functionality is nothing less than excellent. I enjoy the transparent keyboard option, landscape support, and built-in browser (I get some out-of-memory warnings sometimes on my 1st-gen iPhone, but no crashes as of yet). It's responsive and consistent even on an EDGE connection. I do like the interface as well. It's quite well-designed once you get used to it. The easily-accessed menus are very professional. There are a few downloadable themes available, which is a nice touch. So, to gripes. There are a select few bugs that still persist (most annoying one is, after coming back into a room from the browser and tapping on the text field to type, the sides of the text field extend off the screen in landscape mode). It does not handle receiving calls while chatting very well. /mode commands would be nice. Lastly, Rooms needs some kind of push support! This feature would catapult Rooms to the top, and I would use it so much more.
