Needs an update
The app is hard to navigate. The look is old and outdated. I like to look at the picture to see if I want to try the pattern; however, the images are so small I can't tell what patterns I'm looking at. It's not worth the effort. I'm deleting.

Nice but needs improvement.
This is a good App but I feel it lacks some things. - I would like to be able to look up patterns by their recommended yarn type. - Furthermore it would be nice to be able to refine my search even further. Example: crochet-who's it for?-kids. I would like to be able to take that a step further an be able to pick afghan, accessory, clothing, toy etc rather than have to wade through every pattern. The website is much more in depth and easier to search through than than the App. For this reason I rarely use the App.

Out of date
The opening page of this app shows a 2012 project. I do not think it is updated very often.

Tried really hard to like it!
UPDATED: June 2013 seriously, redheart? No search or save option YET? You know that on LBY's app you can 'favorite' patterns, save them directly to your phone or iPad INSIDE the app, and even buy supplies right from the app, right? It's like you're the crotchety grandpa of the yarn makers. "Bah! This Internet whoozit! It's not going to last. Books and fliers! That's what we need! Print more fliers!" Come on, join the twenty-first century. Most of us don't bite. So, the app is pretty user-friendly and easy to navigate through what there is of it. I LOVE that I can save patterns as PDF files in my kindle app. I understand you can also save them in your nook or iBooks apps. They're easy to print. However.....I'd like to be able to save them in Knitminder, so I can keep track of the pattern as I work it. Also, I was looking for a shell afghan crochet pattern. I had to scroll through every single page to find what I wanted. I wish there were a search option! Can this please be the next update? If it were, I'd probably give this app five stars. I haven't had any crashing or viewing problems.

This is an awesome app! The only thing that would make this better is if they would add a search option to make it faster to research a pattern. Another app you might try if you want more patterns is called, Lion Brand Yarn. Just type that name up and it should be the first thing that pops up. I use both apps and have plenty if projects I want to accomplish. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I give it two thumbs up.

I really want to like this app,
But I'm having the same problems as everyone else. It's very slow, but I do like saving patterns to iBooks. That way I can access them without an Internet connection. I really wish there was a search option. There are so many patterns, but it's impossible to find what I'm looking for. Needs an update!

Doesn't work
None of the links works. Even when it did work you can't access favorite patterns nor can you save a pattern to favorites.
