Rainbow Sentences is helping in so many ways!
My son (6 w/ASD) and daughter (4) are both learning to read paper picture books with sentence structure at school. Rainbow Sentences has improved upon that and made it more fun for them to learn! They are both on LEVEL 1 and we have played with the other levels (mostly me) and love how I can control the settings. Right now at school and in therapy they are learning who/what so Rainbow Sentences is right in line with W words and helping to learn in a more adaptive way. The SLP actually purchased this app to share with her other kids as it has made her session with my son so much more valuable and easier (he doesn't resist or have meltdowns)! I know there are numerous ways to adjust the settings in order to let Rainbow Sentences grow with your child and I'm excited to see the progress that both of my kids make! It is worth the money, hands down! Finally, someone makes an app that is simple yet brilliant that makes learning fun using the iPad when there are children (not just ASD) that have a hard time learning from paper (etc) as they need that positive reinforcement - to use their hands and eyes to connect those words and see it visually appear especially when they struggle with handwriting due to low tone and other variables. So glad I found this app! ****LOVE the updates and we're still loving/enjoying Rainbow Sentences. Could not ask for a better built app (to think this is on an iPad continues to blow my mind - we tell everyone about it when they ask about *must.have.apps* as always Mobile Education Store gets it right!************* @CharlyJames2

you never cease to amaze me!
mobile Ed store, you have done it again. This is a wonderful app, my 7 year old special needs child lovesit! I have even been using it with my 14 year old, it amazes me that schools don't teach parts of speech anymore! This app is easy to use and we love it!

This App was simply amazing for our ASD child. Before she had such a tough time of understanding. Now she knows it and loves recording herself doing them correctly. We used this almost daily for homeschool last spring. She went from hardly understanding to almost mastery in a short time. It was wonderful watching the lightbulb go off when she understood something.

Rainbow Sentences
Another great program from one of the top developers for communication apps (in my opinion). My speech/language students love it! Updated 7-25-12. Rainbow Sentences saved the day! I needed a positive memory to overcome the memory of a rough session a student had with me yesterday. After being fully engaged with this app for the session today, this limited-verbal child told me "This was amazing! I can't believe it!". He left happy and I know will return tomorrow with positive memories of his time with me. Makes my job so much easier with engaging activities like this and I'm thrilled when a student feels this good about himself!

Love it!
Nice use of who and what doing for level 1, adding where for level 2, and adding why for level 3. Like that you can fade the color prompts in two steps at each level. The word grouping can also be faded if desired for very advanced learners. Great way to teach complete sentences very gradually to help avoid frustration - ABA uses this method for a reason. Like the opportunity to "try again" when student's answer is "not quite right." Thankful the rewards aren't loud and annoying like some other apps. Gotta give you five stars! Very useful app! Well done.
