I really like this app I'm on it almost everyday it's pretty cool to see the activity this planet has on a daily bases, the only thing I would like to see added is when a volcano is active I think that would be just as sweet as this app

You can set up this app to see the data you want and filter what you don't. It has additional data that can be set, not just USGS. They also provide the links in the app to set up email/ test notifications. For EQ or Tsunami's. Highly recommended. I just wish the Pacific Rim wasn't split on the map-that's the most active area.

Much improved!!
I have been using this app, along with several other EQ apps, for sometime. But the recent updates makes this one of my favorites!

Fantastic app
With relatives in Japan and living near several faults in SF Bay Area myself, this app is an essential. Sometimes scary until the relatives are reached, but comforting to see that the intensity and frequency are easing over time. For the question about Arkansas--Fracting is what is happening. Oil companies force water under pressure deep into the rock below to reach the oil and gas. It causes quakes, which they deny are linked. But the same thing happened in Basel, Switzerland, some years ago and in the Geysers Area, Cal. Last year. Some people think others are stupid.
