I suggest enabling eDeposit for iPod Touch
I suggest enabling eDeposit for the iPod Touch to make this app more widely useful. Other than this major oversight, it seems like a good app.

Fantastic I can drop my Chase account now
Why I love Provident CU and their new app. 1. I can now deposit my checks remotely. 2. I get better return on my checking vs. .001% at Chase. Super-checking, Yea baby! 3. No activity fee after 18 months versus 6 months. 4. Youth account with own card with oversight by parent. 5. Pay back for ATM usage at fee locations like other banks. 6. I can use ANY CU for withdrawals and account management when I don't use their great online website, or mobile app. 7. Tons of surcharge free ATM's if I have to go over the 5 payback ATMs. 8. Lower interest rate on home and auto-loans. 9. Not going to need to be bailed out with my tax $$ like Chase and Goldman Sachs. Bye, bye Chase . . . thank you Provident PS I don't work for Provident but any smart IT guy can figure out how to save and make more money.

Poor implementation
Worked once for me. After that, I started getting login timeout and credential errors. Needs work :-(

Mobile banking made easy
I really like the simplicity of the app. It's so easy to check account balance, pay bills, and make deposits. Though the first time I tried e-deposit it was challenging but it really has to do with taking a picture of the check. Once I got that down I haven't had a problem since. Great app and it makes banking convenient.

Easy to use mobile banking. Deposit feature visible if requirements are met
The screen shots for this app explain it better than I can - it's easy to use and a no-brainer to install if you are a Provident member. That being said, it has one UI flaw that seems to confuse many users... e-Deposits. For Deposits to appear in your menu bar, you have to meet the following requirements (taken from Provident's site): ⁃ Been a member of Provident Credit Union for more than 90 days ⁃ Have an active checking account in good standing that has been open for more than 90 days with a balance greater than $0.00 (Fresh Start, Business, and Youth Checking accounts are not eligible for e-Deposit) ⁃ Age 18 or older ⁃ Current and never delinquent on any open loan held by Provident Credit Union ⁃ Zero returned checks or non-sufficient funds charged to your checking account for the year to date. ⁃ Valid and up to date mailing address Provident should provide a quick interstitial message stating or linking to the eligibility for e-Deposits within the app. This way, if you don't meet the requirements, you won't have a HUGE question-mark over your head when you look for it and it's-just-not-there.
