Expensive, there's a free alternative!
I'd suggest going with the free alternative: piano notes. It has more features and is better designed. The features of this app are very limited. While it does exactly what's advertised, it leaves a lot to be desired. The key signatures are chosen at random and it doesn't have many options. This should be either free and advertising supported or 99 cents. Midi support is cool, but it won't work on the iPhone. Also, the sound is screwed up- it only plays full volume, or muted.

piano tutor
This is a great app for practicing and building your basics in your piano journey. Once I turned off my mute and got the sound going it was awesome. And if you have to practice without sound, say on a plane, the note reading is a good one. When I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting sound the staff responded immediately through email. Love this ap!

Pretty weak
No way to go back to start again or to back track to re-try previous notes by sliding finger on "progress bar" No sample how the notes/song sounds first...are notes a recognizeable tune?..or not...no way to know...w/b fun to hear what I am to play...not available No way to back up like using back arrow on web browser No way to turn hints on for the score but off on keys (both are either on or off) Red "X" of note I played shows to left of notes rather than near the note I am playing..why?...why not near the note I am attempting? If I have de-selected one cleff, the other still shows..why bother?... why not show two levels of the cleff I am playing? No way to get back to "home screen"...must plood thru the exercise or close the app & re-open. VERY basic and limited. Too bad. It could be great. Dissapointing. Will keep looking.
