For someone who hasn't practiced note reading in years this is a great application to get me back on track. Seems as though I'll get further along than ever before.

Very good for sight reading practice
For years I have been trying to find a way to improve my sight reading skill, this app is absolutely the answer to my problem. I have tried many other apps before this one but this app is so far the best of its kind in the AppStore.

Simple and great
All I wanted from this app was a simple tool to teach myself to read music. It works perfectly fine for that purpose. I have fun and learn at the same time.

Learning tool
Outstanding app for learning notes by sight and sound. First app I've ever paid for, thrilled that it wasn't a dud.

Awesome for me and my student
Love this app, use it constantly, can't say enough good about it. I am working to become fluent in the bass clef, and my girlfriend is a keyboard beginner and works out with treble clef only. Sharps and Flats can be turned on or not so it works from rank beginner all the way up until you are reading all the pitches in both clefs. If you need to learn pitches on the staves of musical notation, this is the app of choice. I have tried quite a few, and all are good. But this simple app does it better than any other I have found. You can't go wrong. It will teach you and give you drill exercises until you are totally fluent at reading note pitches. To be honest, I haven't tried the ear training part. It appears to give you a sound and you then pick out the correct key on the keyboard. I just don't need that part and haven't tried it. If only this talented dev would address the timing of notes in rhythm, it would be perfect. Perhaps in time, eh? I would love to have rhythm notation drills as simple as the pitch notation drills in this fine app.
