Doesn't recognize my blu-ray player, it's worthless
Like some of the previous reviews I also have the brand new Panasonic DMP-BDT230 and the app doesn't recognize it. It's ridiculous that as a company they advertise this feature but then don't keep it updated for their new products. This app is worthless to me until they update it. I'm more frustrated about the fact that they advertise this feature and don't have it than I would be if they didn't mention it in the first place. Essentially they're just using false advertising right now. This gives me a horrible impression of the company as a whole.

No support for Panasonics new players
I have the brand new Panasonic DMP-BDT230 and it can not find my player. This app is useless for me until it does. I see in the FAQ is supports the previous years model. I'm currently using an iPhone 5 on iOS 6.1.2

Unable to connect
The app does not find my DMP-BDT320. I have reloaded the app to no avail. This app is worthless to me at this point.

Does not work.
Does not work. I have everything set correctly per Panasonic's instructions and it does not find my DMP-BDT321 Panasonic Blu-ray player. I have an iPhone 4 v. 6.1.3 After spending an hour or so researching, I think the reason is probably due to some router setting on my AT&T router. I've searched (online) for what it might take to change that has--so far--lead to pages and pages of arcane discussion and no clear directions on how to fix it.

This app is better then these reviews
This app isn't great but it does work. I have a Panasonic blue ray player and I can turn my tv on via hdmi cable. The app isn't very pretty but the hand gestures are responsive and it works.

Not so useful as is
Without the TV on you have no status as to where you're at on the BD player, not even whether power is applied as the On/Off button on the remote app always stays Red regardless of powered on or off. I have found no usefulness of turning on Viera Connect, because again, no status/display reported back to app. Therefore, you are limited to being in the same room with the TV and BD Player where you might as well use the manufacturer's remote control. My Onkyo remote app allows me to start Pandora One without ever turning on the TV, because it displays in the app where I am at as I get there. I can do it with this remote app if I memorize the app keystrokes/controls, and assume each one was successfully accepted as anticipated. I suppose one can say it gives you more than one remote control in the same room, but it is not a true Wi-Fi solution for starting up something before you enter the room.
