Not worth it at all
The game is very repetitive the weapons stink gameplay is linear with every level involving getting to your spaceship. Camera positioning is horrible. Just don't buy it. This is a complete rip off

easily, undoubtedly, simply, just plain incredible...definitely the best by far
this game is just plain amazing. no other games come close to this level of sophistication and entertainment. many long levels make for excellent replayability, and each level is different. the whole game, start to finish, is fun, creative, and entertaining. i will admit that sometimes the controls are frustrating, but that comes with the touch screen. some games solve this by using the accelerometer, but that would be far more frustrating with this type of gameplay. this game is by far the best game on my ipod. i play it constantly. few game developers have really come out with apps as sophisticated as this one. EA has done some excellent work (spore, sim city) but not with this type of game. gameloft came up with some great titles (asphalt4, brothers in arms), but despite the fact that pangea's prehistoric/space age theme seems a bit childish, their games have better visuals, more complex and difficult games, and this is just my personal opinion, but i prefer their games because they are just as fun but take longer to master and complete. gameloft's BIA, which is about world war 2 and seems like a simpler copy of call of duty is in some ways similar to this, but otto matic, although it has no grand historical references and it's noble cause (rescue the world from aliens) seems overdone and kind of silly, has better visuals, more freedom, more room for creativity (no historical parameters to follow) and although it has fewer levels, the levels are longer, deeper and more difficult, giving this game more replayability. Nanosaur 2 is also fun and has great visuals. Pangea has come a long way since "cro-mag rally." This game is a must-buy for iphone/ipod gamers.

Terrific ipod touch game
This is a console like platformer for an ipod. The gameplay is fantastic and the graphics are well done. Games like these are pushing the ipod more into the game industry. Amazing game to play and never gets boring.

Nice, exceedingly polished, indeed!
Pangea, thank you for a high quality, full featured game. I haven't seen anything on the Appstore comparing to the graphical, musical, and just the overall package offered in Otto Matic. The controls take about 2 minutes to get mastered, after that comfortable every time. The framerate is superfluid. With Bugdom 2 they seemed choppy at times, but with Otto, there's none of that. Again with Bugdom 2 the levels seemed chaotic yet sparsely populated. In Otto Matic the goals are clear and consise and there is plenty to do. I highly reccomend this one and I mean that! $7 is a steal, this game is truly worth $20 or more. If you ever played or liked alien attack spoof movies, or games this is tops!
