Works ok
Update: 11Nov: Now had it s couple weeks. Downgraded to four stars. I've had mixed results. For documents I've created, formatting has been an issue. I haven't played with very complex formatting yet, but even simpler functions like spaces haven't been consistent. I'll creat a doc on iPad, save, then open on iPhone. Spacing will be completely off, characters added and formatting way different from orig doc. Same issues exist when creating on IOS device then opening on windows. I've left at 4 stars for two reasons. 1. It does add functions that I needed like being able to email from Dropbox. 2. I believe the developer is still active in supporting the app, so I'm willing to hold based on hope of updates. PREVIOUS POST Had it for a couple days now (just updated from 4 to 5 stars). Pretty impressed, especially opening a word file from Dropbox, edit it, then save back to Dropbox (after the in app purchase). As for all the negative reviews on the in app purchase, it clearly states it in the description it's required. Plus the in app purchase allows the user to basically try the app out for free. If u like it and it works for you, then you pay ( $5). I like this better than the apps that charge you to install, then don't work & you can't get money back. This app is clearly better than 1 star. Is there room for improvement, always; but it does work really good.

Not working
So I read the comments even before I downloaded, I get it...in order to save I need to buy it BUT I can't even get that far bc when I try to open an excel sheet that I emailed myself, it freezes the app. Can't press close, can't do anything. Developers are all about timing without the quality. Why would I try the full version if you can't even get the free one right??

Best for Me!
I need to look up certain product numbers all the time in excel sheets. This app allows me to open docs and search for product numbers easily, the other free apps did not

Best app on my ipod
This app is great. The only reason it gets bad reviews is because people don't know how to read. It tells you straight out - you have to pay before you save! I think it is well worth the money, I only use it for documents and love the fact that you can choose which program you want and won't have to pay extra for something you will never use. I can still use it as a reader, like for powerpoints and spreadsheets, so that is great. This app used to crash somewhat frequently, but since the update I have only encountered 1 or 2 crashes (most likely because my ipod got several notifications at once). I posted a review when that was an issue and they fixed it. You will NEVER get a quality app like this for free. If you're not sure, TRY IT OUT ANYWAY. Thats why they have this for free and then you pay. No one wants to download something for three dollars if they arent sure they will like it. If you like writing things, need to write multiple essays for school throughout the year, or just want something to keep you organized, this is the app for you. It has a password feature, for when you open the app or a document. I love this feature because my friends like to play with my iPod and sometimes I don't want people to read things I write, at least not until they are finished! GET THIS APP.

LOVE it- must buy full version
I love this app. It was completely worth the money. However, make sure you read the full description of the free version. Unless you buy it, you can't save your documents. It does allow you to purchase and save a doc after creating it, which is nice. I keep my monthly budget in spreadsheet format and on me at all times. My balance auto-updates as it's formulated, which is fantastic! You can also put photos in basic documents, so I can snap a photo of a recipe and save it in the same file as a copied/pasted text recipe. Works much like your home PC, can organize almost everything in straightforward formats. A must-have.
