Feels great.
The iOS 7 update feels right at home with the new OS. Great job.

Pay extra subscription to read on iPhone - I don't think so
I'm a subscriber to the iPad edition and have been for years, this following about 20 years of getting the paper delivered to my home. So why do I have to pay extra to take a quick peek at the paper on my iPhone? I don't recall ever having to pay extra if I read the paper on a train or on a plane! I'm one person so if I read the Times here or there it shouldn't matter. Just a company trying to rip you off. The subscription is in my name so I should be allowed to read the paper when, where, and how I want.

Disappointing
I am unhappy with the fact that they stick the app in that stupid iOS book case thing. I would also prefer to pay for the app than deal with the cluttery space guzzling ads at the bottom of the page. Boo.

Scrolling problem
The recent update is a step in the wrong direction. 1) No more full screen article view. The overlay that elegantly appeared at the end of an article or with a single tap is now pointlessly present at all times. 2) Scrolling is broken. Scrolling in the article list works fine, but within an article is slow and lacks momentum. 3) New font choices are worse. The old font size presets were easier to read than the new, difficult-to-adjust system.
