Sports scores revealed! Can't turn it off
This app is infuriating! It announces the winner of major sports events ruining time delayed matches and tournaments. You can't turn it off without turning off all news updates (so why bother having this on your phone if no news updates!)

Hate the ads!
I'm paying for a subscription, but you're still subjecting me to ads? Outrageous!

Fail
Unfortunately, I have neither the disposable income nor the time to get sufficient use out of an expensive subscription. With this latest update you can only view three top news stories a day, which is absurd. I used to rely on the times for breaking news, but now I will be looking elsewhere. It's safe to say they have lost this user.

From limited to useless
Bar at top of screen won't disappear. And now I'm limited to 3 articles per day? It's like NYT isn't aware there are other reputable news sources w/ apps that are far less frustratingly stupid.

The app feels much "smoother" now
Until this update, there has always been something busted about the gesture handling in this app. I like the idea of full screen viewing, but the implementation sucked. It was finicky about recognizing gestures and required a delay between touches for things to work right. That's all fixed now. At the price of a permanent top bar.
