Smart links
Please fix the way links behave: if I touch a link while scrolling, the app will open it. Other apps (e.g. Safari) are smart enough to distinguish between an intentional tap on the link and an accidental one while swiping to scroll the page.

Needs work - text size and video
I echo the comments of other reviewers - please allow the option to adjust the text size only within the NYT app - not via a universal, device-wide change. This is making it incredibly hard for me to use when reading. In addition videos suffer from the whiteish translucent bar at the top of screen that blocks out about 10% of the Video -- in other words, terrible design. Last - why are links so sensitive? I can't scroll without accidentally opening up something in Safari. Annoying!

Nice app!
One nice addition would be the ability to sort the articles by time. I keep seeing the little blue dot, indicating updated content, but usually have no idea what is new when I start reading

Great app, but save me some clicks...
...and pull it out of Newsstand. Seriously Apple- stop trying to make Newsstand happen. I want an icon on my home screen, not buried (worse, HIDDEN) several clicks down. And since I (and the rest of the world) have no interest in using Newsstand for anything else, I forget this beautiful NYTimes app even exists. We (again, the world) GET it - collect our reading materials in one place, great - but we don't want to use it.

Trouble with ads & subscription model
New iOS 7 version makes sharing via Facebook and Twitter clumsier. Link comes first, instead of after text. Now I need to waste time editing posts, or I don't tweet/FB.
