crashes randomly?? I think if you have links within the article - and I'm paying $30 or whatever per month for the service - then the link should go directly to the content. hate having to login (what's my password again) and mistype, etc - EVERY time I want to see linked content.

Crashes often now
Crashes when certain advertisements attempt to load, very frustrating, this is the most unstable version of this great app I've seen yet

It WAS a great app
I am a paper and digital subscriber. Enjoyed reading the Times in my phone. With the ios7 update I can no longer change the text size from within the app. You have to do it from within phone settings. Major inconvenience. Still a good app but made worse with updates

ads in my paid subscription?
I like the app and have always liked reading the New York Times, so I subscribed. It works very well, but since the update I'm getting ads on my pages, and I'm not paying money to get ads on my pages, so I'm going to have to cancel. I hope someone at the Times reads this review.

I thought about paying, but not with these ads.
Wow is this terrible. The ads dominate the page, even when reading articles. Googling around it seems they don't go away even if you pay. I want to enjoy this app. I considered subscribing to a newspaper (something I've never done in my adult life) but not for a terrible experience like this. I hope Bezos can save these clowns from themselves by showing the way.

Latest update breaks saying "Needs Internet connectivity".
iPhone 5S on AT&T. As I open the app, it pops up a dialog saying "An internet connection is required to view this blog." Error is shown irrespective of whether the phone is on LTE or Wi-Fi.
