Paying a digital subscription fee for a broken app.
I pay a monthly fee for access to the NY Times so that I can read as much as I want, and so that I can use this app. Is it too much to ask that it doesn't crash and freeze? It used to be absolutely terrible, and then got better. With this latest update, the bugs are back. How long until we get an update that fixes these problems, nytimes?

Can't refresh
The refresh button is not available for a few minutes when the app is launched in the latest update. Please fix; iPad app does not seem to have this problem.

Essential app, but freezing is driving me crazy
I use this app dozens of times a day to keep up with world, national and local news. But latest update has caused app to freeze up virtually every time I open it. I wish I had not update to this version. Please fix!
