Useless app that forgets your login and the fact your are a paid subscriber so often that it gets to be annoying to try to read articles. Pure junk. Canceling my subscription

Love the content, hate the app
Can NYT please hire some real developers? This is the worst app ever and every time they change it they delete all your saved settings. There is also NO communications to customers ever on charges. This is my most expensive (I have a full digital subscription) and least stable app. Can NYT please outsource their tech? Please!!!

Most Emailed Doesn't Refresh
On the iPhone, when I hit "Refresh" on the upper right corner, all sections refresh EXCEPT "Popular." I have to totally turn off the app and restart it to get Popular to refresh. Otherwise it's a great app.

Pointless annoyance
What genius decided that this app must be and cannot be removed from the Newsstand? Shockingly I like to keep all my news apps in one folder. But the Times can't be put in that folder, and I can't put the other apps in Newsstand. I love the NY Times but I really resent being prevented from organizing my phone as I see fit for no good reason. This is idiocy.

Good app
Overall a very good app. The printed NYT charges a subscription fee and has ads, so I don't mind them here. This kind of quality reporting is expensive to do. I wish It could be a normal app outside of the newsstand. The newsstand only makes sense if a person has multiple things in it. Otherwise it's just an extra click to launch the app.
