Get it out of Newsstand
I hate the fact that this one app is by itself in the newsstand folder. It's not near my other news apps, so I find that I actually use it less. Give me the option to put it where I want, and I'll give it a better rating.

Used to work Now won't function
Until the most recent update the app served my needs. Now every time I tap on it to open it opens and closed immediately!!

Email Forward No Longer Puts Headline in Subject
Ok.. Who is the idiot developer who decided to no longer put the headline in the subject of an article forwarded by email.. Always worked that way but no.. Somebody enhanced it by putting it instead in the body! So if you forward it IOS says 'you don't have any subject' so you can then go back and cut and paste it with your thumb! Idiotic! Make it work like it used too.. Wake Up!

Shame On The New York Times
This is a good app. This is a prestigious company known for its solid and trustworthy news reporting. Then why is it that a month is no longer a month? I signed up for a monthly subscription only to discover that some months I would be billed twice. Customer Service says it is because a month is much less than 30/31 days. I would have felt better if NYT had not desired it as a "monthly" subscription. Shame on you NYT.

Annoyed about ads and web access
Functional and no frills. -1 star for full screen ads. I pay 15/mo.! Downgrading another star because app is supposed to come with a "digital pass" to the website, but this does not work, and so far tech support has not handled requests for support.
