Great for reading news
Great for reading news. Latest version seems to fix freezing, problems with updating. And, if you want qualified people to make quality news, you have to pay for it. How, and how much, is obviously up for grabs right now, but these are good people, and quality news.

Still Broken!!
Although some thins fixed (see below) still cannot move Opinion category when you edit sections. Latest version must not have been tested. Hangs when started (fixed). Top stories icon disappears (fixed). Doesn't auto refresh (fixed). A real amateur hack job. Bring back previous version.

Great news app
The app is great. You can read as you browse, or save articles as you browse to make a custom reading list that you swipe through. Fine-tunable font size makes for pleasant reading. Push notifications for major headlines as a plus as well. The ads are a little irritating, especially after paying for a subscription, but if this is the cost of maintaining gold-standard journalism so be it.

Waaay too expensive
I want the NY Times to survive, but $195/year is not going to happen. And now that we're limited to 3 articles, I'm looking for a replacement.

NYT new app horrible!
The new app is horrible. I am a decades long 7 days a week home delivery customer. I want to see the whole front page on my iPhone without going through Safari or Newstand.
