Buggy - now useless
Won't update -manually or automatically. Still showing stories from over a month ago under top news. Total crap.

Doesn't copy title upon forwarding
Good content. No problem w updating or with icon on iPhone 5 (not sure why other reviewers experience this problem). My major complaint is that upon forwarding an article to an email address, you have to manually copy the title line of the article from the message-section of the email into the subject line of the email. Very annoying. The title should be automatically populated as it does for other News providers (e.g., USA Today)

I've accidentally picked stories that I don't want to read while scrolling on my phone. Being limited to 3 stories per day this makes it disappointing. I wouldn't mind paying a small fee per article, but I'm not interested in subscribing to the whole newspaper. Also, the popular section doesn't update properly now. Lastly, I don't like it that it's a newsstand app.

Hide Nav bar, please!
I get why an advert takes up the bottom of the screen, but why does that navigation bar have to take up the top? Didn't it used to hide itself? C'mon, NYT, you can do better than this.

Nice update but upcoming subscription prices are a bit steep
Very nice update, but the upcoming subscription prices are a bit ambitious and steep. Will I pay $15 to enjoy the Times on my laptop and iPhone - possibly. Will I pay an additional $20 to read it on my iPad - no way! Also, with the persistent NY Times logo taking up valuable pixels along with the persistent nav bar and banner ads, there is too little room left in which to explore content. It's hard to believe that a group of professional designers made such a choice.

Only 3 per day?
I can only read three articles per day?! Deleting the app. I'll get my news from WSJ and CNN.
