Bad update
This WAS a good app. But now you can't do much of anything from settings and worst if all- I can't share stories by Twitter. Pop-up says the internet connection to Twitter failed. Deleted app, re-installed it. Same pop-up. And there is no place in the iPhone 5s settings to enable Twitter. Had to be done by the app. My iPad is upgraded to iOS 7 and its upgraded NY Times app works fine as before. Bad, hasty iPhone update. FIX IT!!!

First, the update takes away the dictionary but you can manually add it back (did not see any warning or instructions, just figured it out). When you try to define a word and it says not found, you can click on manage at the bottom of the screen and add it back. The app always crashes on me at some point while I am reading a long article. Most annoyingly though, when I click on a link in a story it should take me to the linked content inside the app, not to their website! And especially not make me have to type my password every time I get taken to the website too. Very annoying.

Too many hyperlinks
Since the ios7 update it is way too easy to accidentally click in the hyperlinks within articles. I was reading one this morning and accidentally clicked links no less than 10 times. I don't remember it being so sensitive before. I'm using my finger to scroll down as before, but now the links are too sensitive so I find myself opening them instead of scrolling down.

Why ads with paid subscription on iPhone?
Even though you pay your $15 per month to read on iPhone, you get ads. The screen on the iPhone is small enough without banner ads. Vote with your $ and say NO.

Subscription too high for ads!
I do not pay a chunk of cash every month for you to plaster the app with ads! These are far to prominent and frequent. Get rid of them or you will lose yet another subscriber.

Needs work
Hyperlinks are way too sensitive. Also the dictionary got super dumb... Also, no more full-screen ads for paying customers!
