Great Idea, Terrible Reliability
I downloaded Notograph immediately upon hearing about it because it met a need I constantly have. The interface seems very well-thought-out and suitable for its purpose, and I love the mechanism for choosing the preview section for each image. Unfortunately, none of this matters much because the app is so crashy. At first it was merely unreliable, but now I literally can't get it to take a picture. Every time I try (and I just tried about 15 times in a row), the app crashes immediately after the shutter closes, and it does not save the image to the list. The app used to have an obscenely long startup time, which also contributed to my dissatisfaction, but right around the time that the startup time got shorter was when the crashing became much worse, so I wonder if the two phenomena are related. Additional gripes: if I open the preferences, then tap the home button to return to the home screen, then open the app again right away, it takes me back, not to the preferences, but to the camera part of the app. Unless the system has put the app on standby, it should return to the state it was in when I left! Also, why on earth does the app not take advantage of the Volume Up button as a shutter? I hate having to tap with my finger in the screen to take a picture; the ergonomics are so much worse. But I could live with (and even love) Notograph if it just reliably worked.

Nice except issue with new update
Trying to add a bunch of photos from camera roll at once (10-20+) crashes the app. Would be nice if this was fixed.

Great! But...
I've wanted an app like this from almost day one of the iPhone. I take so many photos as notes to remember. The UI is clean and intuitive & the update added the feature of adding from Camera Roll and it'd all be almost perfect except that this app continues to crash more often than it will stay open. I hate to say it because I REALLY want to love this app.

I like the idea
I bought it for the Evernote sync but its not syncing. Also crashes when I try to delete a note. I'll hang in there, I'm a fan of the idea.

Great app for note taking with pictures
A great app will do (at least) one thing and do one thing very well. Notographic does just that - its a super simple app that is used to take picture notes. This is great because it will not clog up your camera roll with pictures of barcodes, labels, etc. If you're like me then you use your iPhones camera for far more than regular pictures. I use it to document things that I will need/want to remember in the future. The downside to this is that my photostream is now clogged up with pictures that I don't want to be shown on my Apple TV. So therefore I am stuck using my wife's photostream on our Apple TV's and my Mac. This app syncs with Dropbox which works perfectly for my use. I do wish that it had an import and export feature so I could BRING IN pictures that are currently in my photostream/camera roll and also export pictures TO my photostream/camera roll. Overall the app is very smooth and quick on my iPhone 5. Way to go on the app!
